All types of lock supplied and fitted
We are able to offer all types and makes of locks, if you have a preference to a particular make then please let us know and we will give you a current price for the make and type of lock you have requested. If you do not know what make or type of lock that you need, then we can offer you some alternatives with costs from which you can make a choice.
All of our products are manufactured to high quality standards, fully guaranteed and fitted in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations. All products that require to be fitted to the current British Standard for locks are marked with the current BS Kite Mark and assured to BS 3621:2004.
BS 3621 has been upgraded because of the introduction of a European lock standard. It is one of the most publicised British Standards and one which all insurance companies use to state which locks they require to have fitted to policy holders external doors.
Main changes for compliant locks:-
- 20mm bolt throws
- Latch operation with 10 Newtons sideload
- 40N follower force
- 25N closing force
Please check with your insurance provider what their requirements are when fitting new locks to doors, or upgrading your security for insurance purposes.
